Repair Services
- Shipping Label: If you purchase a repair service, our team will email you a prepaid shipping label within 24 hours. If you do not receive your shipping label within this timeframe, please contact us at info@fixmyoculus.com, or submit a shipping label request here and we will assist you promptly.
- Packaging Guidelines:
- Use the smallest possible box that can securely fit your device.
- Add sufficient padding (e.g., bubble wrap or foam) to protect the equipment during transit.
- Devices with uninstalled batteries must be labeled to indicate the presence of hazardous materials, as required by IATA shipping codes.
- Packages that exceed $20 in round-trip shipping costs due to improper or oversized packaging, or other issues, may be subject to additional fees.
International Customers:
- Customers outside the U.S. must coordinate their own shipping solution for sending devices to our repair facility, as we cannot create inbound international shipping labels due to international transport regulations.
- Import Taxes and Fees: Import taxes, duties, or customs fees may apply and are the responsibility of the customer. To potentially avoid these fees, international customers may need to provide a receipt of the original purchase and proof of prior ownership of the device when shipping internationally. We recommend consulting your local customs office for specific requirements.
Lithium-Ion Batteries
- Domestic Shipping Only: Uninstalled lithium-ion batteries cannot be shipped internationally due to safety regulations (IATA Codes: UN3480, UN3481, UN3090, UN3091). Orders for uninstalled batteries with international shipping addresses will be canceled.
- Installed Batteries: Batteries pre-installed in VR equipment are not subject to these restrictions and can be shipped internationally.
